I sat on a plane yesterday after we boarded and were about to take off and the pilot comes on the intercom and says that they received an announcement that a ground stop in Charlotte had been declared due to severe weather, and no plane was coming in or out for the time being.
Passengers were harassing the flight attendants for every little thing and asking about connections even though several announcements were made about the limited information they had on hand (keep in mind, the flight was only going to be 45-minutes!).
We eventually went back to the gate and deplaned when it was cleared to take off and arrive into Charlotte, but man, so many idiots forget that airlines don’t control the weather.
And what’s worse is when they harass the flight attendants during the sit asking questions outside of their scope. They’re not in charge. Stop being ignorant!
Rant over. 🙄
You answered it yourself...
Stupid passengers
