I was on my first leg headed home, LIR-MIA, when FA Jeff gave me my first appreciation card. He said “your connecting flight looks good so far, but there’s been lots of storms tonight so double check your flight to AUS when we land”.

About 2 hours later we end us missing our connection due to weather delays lol. Between the agent in the AC and Twitter messaging we were able to get home. We were supposed to depart at 9:30 PM MIA-AUS. Ending up rebooked 10:45 MIA-IAH, then 5:00AM IAH-DFW-AUS.

Longgggg day headed home, but we made it. I think it would have been much worse without having status.
