Post Body

So I am looking at taking a 5:00 a.m. flight from Atlanta to JFK. With a different flight from JFK at 5:00 p.m. that same day. If I do take this 5:00 a.m. flight and everything goes as planned it will arrive with at least 5 hours to spare to make my way through JFK Airport to my next gate for my international flight. Is this plenty of time? Are 5:00 a.m. flights with American or out of Atlanta usually delayed or pushed back?

Just to clear up, it's a 5am flight from Atl with a stop in Charlotte with a less than 2 hour layover, then on to JFK. Arriving there by 10:30 am. I'm doing all flights, carry-on and personal item only.
