Going to Oahu in November and have two flight options. One is United and the other is American.

option one is CLE DFW HNL with a 70 min layover time. This is AA on a 787 Dreamliner

option two is CLE SFO HNL with a 4 hour layover. This is UA on a 777

I know the Dreamliner is a way nicer plane, but what worries me is stopping in DFW. I know it’s prone to mass delays due to unpredictable weather. I also would imagine SFO has more flight to HNL than DFW in case we get delayed or something.

I know 4 hours is a long layover, but SFO does have PP restaurants and a Centurion lounge.
