My kiddo has been going through a bit of an emotional rough patch.

His dad deployed for a year (left January).

He found out we’d be moving across the country later this summer, he was excited (because omg snow) but also really upset about leaving friends.

Getting picked on a bit at school, simply because he LOVES Godzilla. (Thankfully we talked and he does his best to not let it get to him).

More emotions about dad not being there for his birthday next month.

It’s just been a lot. I have been doing everything I can to help him process it all and to entertain him but between my job and having to start saving/packing for our move, it’s stressful for sure.

I’m just posting the list as a why not. I do not expect anything but sometimes a little surprise book makes everything better.
