Edit: Flair was grayed out when I made this post. If there is flair that should be applied, I'm sorry. It wouldn't let me select anything.
Now that both of my cats have passed, I don't have anyone to buy things for or share the holidays with. About a decade ago, a friend gave me a huge stocking full of knick knacks and candies because I had told him that was my favorite part of Christmas when I was a kid. It was a very sweet gesture, and the last time I received a Christmas gift. That friend got sick and died before we saw another Christmas together.
Christmas of 2022, I ran a very successful Origami book giveaway on the Santa's Little Helpers subreddit. I spent close to two-thousand dollars buying books and fulfilling wish lists. Every Halloween, I am the house the beat. I make gift bags with glow sticks, balloons, and temporary tattoos, and I have a gigantic camping cooler that I fill with candy and let the kids use big plastic scoops to dig in. I give away bags of cookies, Rice Krispie treats, hundreds and hundreds of glow sticks and light-up bugs and all kinds of fun stuff. The kids love it. You can hear repeat customers screaming "that's the good house," before they even get to my door.
I like doing all that stuff for other people, but once in a while I would like for someone to do something nice for me. That is all.
The only things on here that come close to being "needs" are the iced tea, because I don't have the energy lately to make the real thing, and the Omeprazole, because I have stomach acid. Everything else is just random snacks and sodas that I saw while I was browsing, because I can't think of anything else. A lot of them are pretty expensive, but I don't care if I actually get any of them. I set the wishlist to allow people to send things that aren't on the list, and I'd be happy with just a card.

Thanks.
Another edit: I've never used Amazon wish lists, and I don't really know how they work. I'm not sure if everything I put on there can actually be bought by other people or not. It's not important. It's the gesture and not the gift.
