Goolge Photos to Amazon Photos

Hey All, long time Google Photo's user. Thinking about switching to Amazon Photos due to the unlimited storeage and because I am already a prime member.
Anyone have experience doing the same? Do tags and geolocations transfer over? (I have done a lot of work getting my family members tagged). How does Amazon Photo search work? On Google Photos I can type "dog" or "lake" and mostly find what I am looking for.
Other suggestions re: quality, useability, and/or migrating?
