When printing a return label from Amazon, the layout has the actual shipping label in the middle of an 8 1/2 x 11 inch page. Here's the typical layout: Amazon return label sample
There are dozens of Laser/inkjet shipping labels you can buy that have 2 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 labels on a page, but the Amazon format won't "center" on either the top half or bottom half.
I've emailed Amazon support several times on this issue, asking if you can print the label without the shipping instructions so it will print on a standard laser label.
If you print a label from UPS, Fedex, or USPS, they all print the label on the top half of the page so it prints OK on these standard labels.
To use my shipping labels, I have resorted to copying just the actual "label" part of the shipping label image into Word and locating it on the top half of the page, then printing it onto label stock.
Has anyone found another workaround? Or found label stock with the die-cut in the center of the page that lines up with the Amazon layout?
