“Package delayed in transit”

Is it safe to assume it’s delayed because of nasty weather (Casper, WY), or should I be prepared to take the refund? Ordered some nice waders and have a fishing trip coming up on the 16th, was hoping I’d get my waders by then but we will see. They were originally supposed to arrive yesterday, but a snowstorm rolled through the midwest so I’m wondering if that has to do with it. I haven’t seen an update since 5pm yesterday. Thanks all
