Need advice on multi-year Amazon Prime refund
Post Body

So here's the issue, my friend added me as a 1 onto his prime account way back in 2012/2013.

What I have just discovered is Amazon charged both of us for Prime from 2018-2023. Specifically, they added Prime Membership to my account without notifying me or getting my approval, put it on some sort of auto bill without my knowledge or consent, and began charging the card I had on file, again without my knowledge or consent.

I canceled my Prime membership for 2023 and got the reimbursement, and I still have access to Prime through my friend. Which to my understanding implies that I always had access through his membership for the duration and he confirmed he never removed me from his account.

I talked with CS on text chat and after 2 escalations, they said the best offer they could give me is reimbursing me for 1 additional year of prime rather than the 5 years they (to my understanding) have been illegally billing me for.

Anyone have any advice on what my options are, how I should procede forward, and what my realistic outcomes are.

The amount I calculated Amazon owes me is $665.75, all the remaining membership fees that were illegally added to my account and illegally autocharged to my card.
