Hello everyone!
I purchased a laptop through prime Day and I got it on time. The problem is that the track pad is just totally garbage, it has light up things that turn on that make it impossible to use for my intended purpose.
I started a return and inquired about a restocking fee, and they assured me that there would be none.
I then went on to the chat and talked to the age in about the restocking fee, pointed them to the policy and asked how it applied. They told me that there should be no fee.
Just to be sure, I called, and she also said the same thing.
I think I'm concerned because it flies in the face of what's written on the page. I took screenshots of the agent who told me that there would certainly be no fee. This time I made it very clear that the laptop was opened, worked as intended, but it just was not the right quality for me.
Obviously I'm going to watch the return closely, what do you think the chances are that I'll be hit with a fee? I know that they've said it, but they just seems to read from a script and I generally don't trust them anymore.
