Warranties that companies can't or won't honor. Had a tool that I used maybe 4 times. 2yr warranty. The 20V battery reads .3 volts. Manufacturer sells a ton of branded stuff, told me the batteries may be available in a few months. They have a larger battery, same tool with battery, other tools with battery, I asked if they could switch out something, they said just say wait for it.
Plenty of 1 star reviews about this policy, Amazon don't care. Tool can be wired and rigged with other batteries, but still.
Total lies about what is in a product (e.g. I bought a cable advertised with a special "Integrated Circuit") in the cable end. When it failed 32 days later, of course SOL for return, cut the end open and found cold solder joints that a 7th grader could do better on her first science project. Probably dollar store grade cable, sometimes they last a while if you don't disconnect often.
