How to stop echo devices from giving my fire tv instructions.

Post Body

All my echos in the house, especially when its my 4 year old giving instructions, tend to want to interpret instructions like “play scooby doo theme song “ as “pull up scooby doo on the fire tv”. I cant get through a single tv show without my four year old doing something to the tv. Even sometimes things like “turn the light on” will pull up youtube search “turn on light” on the fire tv.

There is literally never an instance where i use alexa to search for things on my tv. I want my fire stick to be completely its own entity that does not connect to the alexa app or any other alexa devices at all. Ive tried disabling the “fire tv” skill. I looked and it wasn’t enabled to begin so i cant disable it.

Theres no option to delete the device when i open the fire tv settings through the “all devices“ menu. I literally just want my firestick to play netflix thats alll i want it to do. How do i stop alexa from constantly changing things with my firestick.
