So, I received an email today from the seller letting me know they refunded me for an item. A refund I didn't ask for or initiate.

While I did purchase an item from this seller I did not purchase the item they mention in their email. They asked me to remove my 3 star review since they refunded me.

The item I actually purchased was a clothes hamper, in my review I listed what I liked and what I didn't. I felt my review was fair as was the star rating.

I wrote them back and thanked them for the unnecessary refund, pointed out that they made a mistake in their email regarding the item I purchased and declined to remove my review.

My question is should I report the seller to Amazon? Is it ok for a seller to ask for reviews to be deleted?

The refund is legit, it has shown up in my alerts in the app.
