Passed my tech exam 14 years ago. I lived in an apartment in Chicago at the time and became discouraged after, being a ham in a city just doesnt work... now I live in the country, bought an acre, was able to set up my first serious antenna and my interest has been reignited! I have reached repeaters ~150 miles from my house, I never imagined that as a possibility for me. Now I can't wait to gain access to play around on HF. Ive been studying an hour or two a day on the hamstudy app for about 10 days and I am getting every question right now. I'm gonna crush this test Saturday!
