when i put my tower up a local elmer talked about using the guy wires as an added bonus antenna if i was a bit careful about lengths. the top guy point is .. ~60' up a delhi, and the anchors are ~60' out, making the hypotenuse 85' (plus or minus a bit for elevation changes). seems perfect for an 80m inverted vee. i dont know what velocity wire rope is, but i could probably putz with lenths one warm spring day. the part i think i'm going to be less able to google is the 'back side'. can i use one guy wire as a reflector of sorts? has anyone done this?
