My jab feels weird and i can't pinpoint what's wrong . So what's wrong with my jab?
I don't think it's a bad jab, but it is all contextual. Ideally you'd be throwing to gauge distance while also earning respect with its speed and power.
So I would recommend loosening up that shoulder. Once you do practice extending that jab hand about a hand above your eyeline with palm facing in, 3/4 through that extension twist your hand completely where the thumb points to the floor. During this twist is the exact moment you apply your rotation in the hips and legs.
This gives me the most power, reach and distance. Once I got this down I learnt to throw other jabs in a more optimal way. Applying this principle to the cross is vital as well, it's all about that last second twist.
