ALTER BRIDGE are the Official Band of the Week over on /r/QOTSA
Post Body

Every week on the Queens of the Stone Age subreddit we take a dive into a band that has collaborated with, has influenced, has been influenced by or has toured with Josh Homme and our very own desert rockers.

This week we check out the band that rose from the ashes of Creed, who found a lead singer with a 4-octave vocal range and became way more kick-ass. As everyone here no doubt knows, Myles Kennedy has worked with Slash - and so has our ex-drummer and everyone's best friend, Dave Grohl. Our ex-bassist Nick Oliveiri has also worked with Slash. And so has Iggy Pop, who Josh Homme recorded an album with and went on tour with. So through the top hatted guitarist, Queens and Alter Bridge are connected.

Myles Kennedy fans will also know that he tried out for Led Zeppelin when they were considering a reunion. When that tryout fell through, John Paul Jones decided to do another project instead - Them Crooked Vultures, with Dave Grohl and our very own Josh Homme.

Come check out the write up! You may learn something new, or you may have something cool to contribute. Look forward to seeing you there and any comments you'd like to add to help Queens fans appreciate Alter Bridge.

See you there.
