Discontinued Patagonia Middle Fork 30l

I spotted this pack on a Patagonia ad that I watched on YouTube. Hiker girl scrambling thru the sandstone deserts, shouldering a slim, lightweight, no nonsense bag. I searched and searched for this on their website…but to no avail. All hope had been lost. I’d forgotten about it. Months had gone by and just by chance, happened to be in Dillon, MT where there is a Patagonia outlet store (shoutout to the homies there). Stopped by and showed one of the employees a screenshot of the ad. Asked if he had it. Said he thinks there used to be some in the basement when he started working here couple years ago Shure ‘nuff, comes back with the lost pack!

My absolute favorite pack that I own. Simple, functional, adaptable, minimalist. Very much a climbers pack. Feels like old school Chionard, doing life alpinist’s style. Wish they still sold it! It’s made of a fairly lightweight nylon, so we’ll see how it performs in the long run. So far it has carried all my touring gear and even strapped skis in Aframe, just for fun. Carried surprisingly well. Pick one up if you see it!
