Not able to see "Tabs"...?

I am not able to see Tabs.
When I first started I was able ro see tabs then they stopped showing up when I was a bartender. I am in management now and for a very short time after the first position change I was able to see Tabs, but it didn't last long.
I have asked my IT guy for help but it hasn't been fixed. Is there something simple I can do in Aloha to allow me to see Tabs once again?
