Grandma’s Aloe is in dire help and I’m very inexperienced
Post Body

My poor plant, I’ve read about root rot and other suggestions and have a plan but I wanted to come here and see what enthusiasts say. I checked the soil and it doesn’t even sit in the pot.

For months it’s sat in a shady part of my room which in England, I used to water it with my other aloe and cacti but i fear I watered it too much? I lifted it out and as you can see there is this white stuff everywhere? The roots don’t feel mushy but Idk if I’m supposed to check inside the soil.

I really want to save this plant!
