I played a bit in the last expansion, but never really got anywhere noteworthy and I recently bought Legacy of the void to get back into it again.
I mostly play 2v2 with my friend who plays Zerg but we don't really have much of a clue how to win other than getting lucky.
So I think I just need some general tips that I might not be aware of, even if it's just basic things that I could be missing entirely. I Usually end up trying to do some build order and by the time I finished it there's 20 marines knocking at the door and I either have to rely on my friend or just get overwhelmed. So I try going for a faster build and sending 4 or 5 adepts or zealots just feels like it's too weak to break throuhg anything. Am I missing something important that would help me out a lot?
Most guides I find are either like "here's how you spawn a probe" or just too advanced and make me feel like I should know something before moving on to that.
I think my biggest issue is that i like to just turtle up in other stragey games and attack after 30 minutes when I've built 30 walls ect ect.... So trying to get out of the slow mentality would improve my game a lot.
