Are Different forms of Media Covering Up Alien Existence?
Post Body

So I had an interesting thought. While working on a project my mind was wandering off to the bizarre and curious as it often does and i got to thinking. There are a LOT of movies out there about alien, "men in black", "the arrival", and "signs", or even "the 5th wave to name a few. Then when we get in to tv series, "Stargate", or Star trek" and yes even the comical "futurama" are the main ones that come to mind. But what im getting at is more of a social engineering type of "brainwashing" i guess. Could it be possible that these movies, or series, or even facebook posts are a way of making the whole premise of alien existence seem outlandish or even imaginary. It seems that the more movies that are made about the subject be that a comical parody or an intense thriller they all leave you with this far out of reach thought of "man that was cool but, it would never really happen. Kind of how we look back at greek mythology and see the cyclops or Pegasus, its "cool" and fun to think about but it cant possibly exist. Are the powers that be using media, and social media such as films, and youtube to normalize the thought or school of thought that the human race is actually alone. That the closest we will ever come to life outside ourselves is in the cinema? It would surely be a clever way to disguise any contact with any extra terrestrial being as an impossibility. If you could convince the world that aliens are merely something akin to mythology, some sort of "taboo" that only crazy people and curious children believe in, then wouldn't this be an excellent method? Using something as common as television, streaming services and social media to assure everyone that this is all fiction, its all fake. When really its being held right in front of your face. I believe that there is a saying which relates quite well to this. "The devils greatest trick was convincing man he didn't exist." Could the powers that be really be using these methods to give the illusion, and stigma that aliens don't exist to decieve the people. Just a thought.
