Are our myths misremembered encounters with aliens?
Post Body

I've been studying a lot of ancient mythology and reading any the Fermi paradox and other ideas around alien life.

Given the kind of technology which is often depicted in Hindu and Greek texts, is it possible that primitive humans came into contact with aliens and simply did the best they could to make sense of their tech?

Type 1 civilisation: Can harness all energy on it's planet.

Type 2 civilisation: Can harness all energy from it's sun.

Type 3 civilisation: Can harness energy from multiple solar systems.

Even with all of our development, humanity is currently a type 0.73 civilisation. Any civilisation that's type 2 or above will still seem God-like to us.

Moreover, we humans are only 1% different from chimpanzees genetically. That 1% difference had created all that we see around us. What if these mythological creatures were similarly different from us?
