What do I mean by get ahead?

Well for example coinbase is going to ipo soon. I want to be ahead of news, and when ipos I want to use an trading bot to hopefully buy stock early - and by early I mean like instantly(or as instant as possible) after ipo.

I have a programming background in scripting languages like python and compiled languages like c and I’m an undergrad in cs so I can definitely do some engineering.

If anyone could give advice, link to resources, or just give some guide on how I could implement this bot it would be wonderful. I just need a place to start.

I really think this is an opportunity to turn things around and I don’t want to be last in line.
