Staking in the AlgorandWallet.

I’m looking to move my ALGO off of CB because of low staking reward with the new change. If I move them to the official AlgorandWallet how do I get staking rewards and does anyone know the current APY percentage rate? I’m not currently signed up for governance. Any tips on best path to utilize to maximize highest staking rewards would be appreciated. I also have a ledger if that’s helpful.
