So when the great TP shortage of 2020 was first starting I grabbed a 12 pack of Scott at my local Publix for reasons I can't remember now, but in doing so I found out I actually preferred the 'shitty' 1-ply compared to what I had been previously using, which for awhile was just the regular Kirkland Signature. Anywho, 3-4 months down the road when that finally ran out I ended up getting the Aldi version Willow 1000 Essential, and as far as I can remember it was pretty much the same. I've bought it multiple times since but I've also got random other TPs like Kirkland, Scott, and 365 from my parents collection whenever I go visit. I just grabbed another 12 for the first time in several months after using up the last pack of Scott from my parents and I was wondering if they changed the paper, I don't remember it being 'quilted' with little design bumps and it's also nearly impossible to rip cleanly along the seams, plus the price went up.
