I came into the rooms 22 months ago and have not picked up yet, but I can’t get past the god word. Really any spiritual stuff sends me running. My sponsor had me skip step 2 and 3 because I just couldn’t get past it. After about a year of being stuck on step four she fired me.😉 How can someone who is fiercely anti spiritual make it in this program?

I’m a Trans woman and spent many years in a fundamentalist christian school, so I had a lot of god crap forced on me. Maybe I have a huge resentment towards god for making me this way? I’m an agnostic, and see it as if there is a god he’s a sadistic prick who enjoys torturing people, why else would he put me in a man’s body. So the way I see it, why pray for help from something that enjoys seeing people suffer?
