Stopping the Obsession?

Dan, alcoholic.
New to the program but not new to AA. I'm still struggling with the obsession to drink. I'm still struggling with being honest, because I'm so shameful, embarrassed, and scared.
This for me is a hard barrier. I find myself not worthy of God's grace.
I don't Swin in the pity-pool, I drown in it.
Any thoughts on how to get through the obsession to drink?
