Alcoholic and about to "Relapse"/new IOP treatment that allows anxiety medication.
Post Body

Hi guys, this is my first reddit post so I apologize if it's not written in the best format. I am currently in an IOP program and in a Sober living house. I am close to 6 months sober from both drugs(sort of) and alcohol. The thing is, the reason why I checked myself into a program (11days detox 30days residential 4 months of current sober living) is for Alcoholism and NOT addiction. The only substance(s) that I've ever truly been addicted to are alcohol and nicotine. The program that I'm in has taken away my anxiety/panic attack medication, that I'm prescribed by my primary doctor. Recently I've been having such a awful anxiety that I've even started using kratom consistently to get it under control. Does anyone have any IOP treatment programs they could recommend that would allow my anxiety medication? It's to the point that I am thinking I should move somewhere else. It feels wrong not being able to take my prescription that I've never abused and have used for years, plus I don't like the fact that I've had to attempt to substituted it with Kratom without their knowledge. Any advice helps. I'm in the Orange county California btw, thanks.
