Hey everyone, I reaching out to try and see if anybody had any advice about joining. I just left the military after eight years of service and it’s been a rough couple months as a civilian; Sipping a craft beer is completely fine for me because I only have one beer and that’s like a special event once every two or three weeks touring a brewery with my brother.
However, I have a hard time with liquor even if I try and hold myself back by saying I’ll have one drink or so, I always end up drunk. Beer literally will have one and done social setting, liquor is weird. I haven’t messed up any family or relationships or finances or anything with drinking, however, could AA help stay free from liquor or is this an help stay free from liquor or is this an all or nothing? all or nothing beverages wise thing?
I don’t mind giving up everything if it guarantees I have a support system so I don’t drink liquor I just wasn’t curious how it worked. has anybody else been completely fine with one thing and then a different li has anybody else been completely fine with one thing and then a different vice is completely different?
