I've been an alcoholic for over a decade, actually almost 18 years. Normally I go to work, come home, tie one on and go to sleep. I really dont ever feel any withdrawal symptoms at all. Recently I haven't just this past few weeks I've really been losing interest in drinking. I've been using sleeping pills and even my insomnia medication I'm prescribed "most likely do to my alcoholism" but it's not working like it used to. I find myself with crazy dreams and sweating quite a lot but I don't sleep much. What am I going through and honestly if this is withdrawals I think I'm just going to quit drinking and deal with it. How long with this last?
