Effects of alcohol
Post Body

I have weird reactions to alcohol and I’m not sure if any of them are normal.

  1. Any amount of alcohol gets me tipsy going on slurry. I’m a social drinker, but half a bottle of a wine cooler and I’m past buzzed into happy go lucky tipsy.

  2. If I drink over 4 shots or two wine coolers I lose time. No I don’t mean black out, I’m conscious and remember everything. I mean I leave a bar at 10 and it takes me until 11 to realize I left the bar. My awareness gets worse as the night goes on, the worst was losing three hours. (Where I ended up is a fun story, but not relevant.)

  3. I never get hung over. I mean I’ve had an entire bottle of tequila (750ml) by myself (three hour time loss) and not so much as a headache the next morning.

  4. I remember everything. No matter how much I drink or how much time I lose I remember everything that I did.

  5. I stay drunk. Like I’ll wake up the next morning with the same effects of tipsy me. (It took 24hrs to feel normal and non giggles after the tequila bottle incident)

About me- I’m 27, I’m 5.3 and a big girl (240Ibs). I always eat before I drink and snack during. I have autism and a rare collagen disorder (hyper mobile elhers danlos)- I don’t know if these affect anything. I’m adopted and both of my birth parents were adopted so I have no family history.

Does anyone else have these issues when drinking? Thoughts on why or how? Is there something wrong with me?
