I've been drinking for years without any problems. I stopped drinking for a few years and this year I have only been drinking 3 drinks once a week. Suddenly one day, I noticed that the buzz each time I took a sip only lasted for a few seconds, and then I felt COMPLETELY sober. After a few seconds, my ear, cheeks, or stomach would be burning up/flushed and the buzz would completely disappear. This has been happening ever since that night months ago. It's not a tolerance thing because I only drink 3 glasses of wine once a week. Recently, I drank like 4 Natty Daddies within the span of a few hours just to see if drinking a lot of alcohol would make any difference, but the same thing happened. I felt completely sober with the exception of a few seconds after I take a sip. I still act tipsy though, but I feel sober. It's the most bizarre and upsetting thing that I can't feel drunk anymore. Has this happened to anyone else? My ear just burns instead of me feeling drunk! I've tried other drugs (and I very rarely do other drugs) and the same thing happens! The buzz disappears and my ears burn instead!
