What's a type/brand of alcohol that usually is a very acquired taste. One that very few people generally drink?

So odd question. But I'm writing a story that requires a character to like a drink that's something that only HE likes. Nobody else drinks it.
Is there anything that would fit that?
I don't want to have a reason because the drink is bad or sucks. But just something that may have a strong taste or something that turns off many people or requires them to be use to it
