I have a question for healers out there! Before I put it out there, I'm pretty new when it comes to healing. Despite never making it a class choice in previous MMO's, I've found the challenge of healing to actually be more fun than just general DPS in AO.
However, as a healer, there is one confusing game mechanic, and that's what my question is about.
[Q]: How do you keep track of mob health? It seems like a very dangerous game to click on the mob to check, which takes your attention away from a healing target.
The reason why I think this is important, especially in boss fights, is understanding how flexible I can be with my mana, and/or deciding to heal someone or let them die based on how much health a mob/boss has.
I feel like I would actually be a better healer, if I had a way to also be aware of a mob/boss's health while healing.
Thoughts? Am I crazy? I feel like I've seen this in other MMO's.
