To keep this sub free of scammers, bots, catfish and spam accounts. In order to post any content you need to follow our simple verification process which allows you to remain ANONYMOUS.

Simply prove that you’re in Alaska (banks, hospitals are great backdrops), and have the date and your username on a piece of paper in the picture. It should be posted as your first post, with the flair “verification post”. You are NOT required to show your face.

You must be a verified member to post in this community.

In order to verify that posters are real people and not spam accounts, we have put in place a verification requirement. It is simple, and it DOES NOT require lose of anonymity.

  1. Handwrite your reddit username and the date that you make the post on paper.

  2. Take a picture of the handwritten note with a recognizable building, or something to identify you as an Alaskan. Random wooded areas, mountains, insides of houses will NOT suffice.
