Part 7.

Things became a little awkward the morning after. I didn't receive any messages from him for maybe 2 days. I didn't bother to message him because I had to spend that weekend at the beach with my family.

"Hey. Are you okay?", I broke the silence over text.

"I'm sorry bro. Sana hindi mo ako layuan", he replied.

"Kasi?"

"I am confused bro. I didn't expect that magkakagusto ko ako sa isang lalake. I'm sorry sa ginawa ko kagabi."

"No worries. It's all good. I kissed you back, right?"

From then on, when we had the chance, we were kissing and holding each other's hands secretly. We will keep that secret from our wives, families, and friends. We even planned of going on business trips abroad para lang magkasama kami.

Stupid, right? I'm fucking stupid. Hindi na natuto and I am not going to justify what we were doing.

One night, I received a text message from ex-partner kung nasaan ako at nag-aaya sya ng inom. I told him I can't coz I was working late at baha sa labas. I lied. At that moment, best friend and I were having our dinner at a restaurant. I didn't expect that former was there.

He approached our table with an upset face. I felt my face flushed in red.

"Inaagaw mo na ang boyfriend ko ah", he muttered.

My jaw dropped.

"I'm just kidding. Na-miss ko lang kayong dalawa. ", sabay nyang kamybo.

"O tameme kayo? Gusto nyo halikan ko pa kayo dyan?"

Puro kami tawanan that night pero at the back of my mind- "Fuck! What's going on???"

Then bestfriend addressed the elephant in the room. "So kayo ba o naging kayo? Kasi nagseselos ako sayo. Mahal ko tong si Jedi."

Then buddy replied, "Oo mahal ko yan. Sarap nga nyang kasama sa kama."

P/UTANGINA. PARA AKONG POKPOK THAT NIGHT. Buti walang tao sa paligid while we were enjoying that bottle of Black Label.

Then best friend replied, "Ah talaga? Hindi pa ako nakaka-score sa kanya eh. Tara tatlo tayo."

It was almost midnight. Tumila na ang ulan. Hindi na rin matraffic. At sa iisang kotse sumakay kami papuntang Pasig.
