In an effort to continually improve this sub, the rules of the sub have been added to the
sidebar. Please make sure you familiarize yourself with them as I will be deleting rule breaking comments and posts. The most common reason posts are being removed is for incorrect formatting. If you do not add the required bare-minimum formatting somewhere in your title or post I am just going to remove it and you can remake it.

The minimum account age requirement has worked out really well in cutting down on the spam bots, if your account is under 7 days old message me or send a mod mail so I can manually approve you. I've seen several confused members notice there are comments to their post that they can't see. Hidden comments are the result of the automoderator catching the spam bots.

If you are unfamiliar with the formatting of r4r posting:

AGE [R4R] LOCATION - TITLE

Obviously, replace each part with your own, especially the [R4R].

Examples:

31 [F4R] Birmingham - Looking for somebody to have a pleasant drink with

26 [M4F] Mobile - I'd like to toss a frisbee with a nice lady :)

20 [T4M] Dothan - Transgirl looking for a funny guy to talk to

Gender abbreviations:

M = Male

F = Female

T = Transperson

R = Redditor/Anybody

Instead of "age [r4r] location," [META] can be used to discuss the state of the sub or offer helpful advice to the community. If you've had success on r/alabamar4r, and you'd like to share with the community, you should use [META][SUCCESS].
