Something that helps me a lot in this super squishy season.
Post Body

As a guy who has about 3k Akali games in Diamond Elo over the past 3 years, and being an Akali toplane main for 4 years, i've been really mad about the latest changes, just everyone deals so much damage and everyone can kill you before you even reach level 6 while you could win against almost all the melee champs pre 6 before.

my solution to that problem

Switching into a super defensive runepage.

9x Flat Armor Marks 9x Flat HP seals 9x Flat MR Glyphs 3x Flat HP Quints

those runes get rid of the "being super squishy problem" early on.

since EVERYONE is that squishy, you will still deal a great amount of damage to your enemies, but will come out on top after a trade waaay easier and healthier, having the ability to do a second trade, while your enemy already has to fear getting killed in the next combo.. i havn't played 2 much Akali for now, because honestly these changes just suck so hard imo.. but i am using the same page on almost every other champ aswell, in SR AND in Aram, it always feels great, never do i feel like doing no damage.

i actually feel like i still deal slightly more damage than before, just because everyone runs around with 500 HP instead of ~700 at lvl 1 as it used to be.
