Help with bayonet

So I’ve got a wasr-10 I bought new back in ‘11. And a bayonet I got some time back in the 90’s. About a year ago I had some one change out the gas block so I could attach the bayonet. Only problem is the bayonet won’t fit with the muzzle brake on it. It’s a tapco slant muzzle brake. The bayonet seems to fit on fine with out the brake and exposing the threads. I’m thinking maybe I got the wrong kind of gas block on here. Any thoughts?
