Fuse amp sizes

Hey all,
I just had to replace the fuse on my JG/GE M16A1, and I put in a 20 amp fuse. I was just wondering if this would damage the gun at all, because I could not get a straightforward answer on what kind of fuse is best. If it helps any, the gun did have a good kick and was quite loud. Should I switch to a 15 amp fuse or keep my 20 amp fuse in?
