Just an update for some people who seemed interested previously. I’m currently designing a cylindrical hopper system that allows the system to feed bbs through two separate channels (if this is something you’re interested in me posting a cad file for separately then I will do that. You will just have to customize it based off your needs. This idea was thanks to a really awesome engineer I forget the name of but will post the name of once I find it.

Hopefully by the end it will be an identical replica to the m249 Saw. I’m taking suggestions if anybody has any niche facts about the m249 that aren’t mentioned commonly.

I’m a big fan of the gun from the far cry series and want to bring it to real life.

Also if anybody has experience with using gas to simulate recoil like the one in this video I would appreciate if you could tell me how I could safely implement this system into my airsoft gun without blowing myself up lol.
