Hello r/airpods, Its been less than 2 years I have been using Airpods gen2. I always kept it in a rubber case, A year ago i forgot it in my pant's pocket and it was soaked, washed with detergent , spinned and dried on a rope with my pant :). But with God's grace it is now almost a year it was still working till this past week. It fell down from my table and left airpod is not connecting with the case, I visited Apple care they said it will cost you 66% of new airpods gen2 🙃. So guys what can I do with my washed and fallen airpods now?????? And I was so obssesed with Airpods I want one cause i do have iPhone , mac mini , macbook pro, So it was a bliss to use it with all of them. Should I buy new airpods or buy a less expensive ear buds. I know its my fault that it was washed and fallen down but is Airpods life is only of 2 years??? and, atleast How many years an airpod should survive??? Please suggest me Im open to your views.
