The AimHigh app on both iphone and android is very useful for your recruiting team, and if you're looking for a recruiter, or would like to better send leads of interested folks to your recruiting team, then you should download it and use it.
Finding a recruiter: On the App choose "more" and then find a recruiter. For now, put just high school graduate along with the other info requested (say no to special warfare). This will bring up the ANG (and other AF recruiters) assigned to your zip code. It's not perfect since not every state is great about updating their recruiter's zip codes, but it's a good start.
Sending a lead to an ANG Recruiter (you can also do this to have a recruiter reach out to you): click send leads. Then, choose fill and submit form. Ensure you select ANG as component. Then select No when it asks "Assign recruit to me". Event type doesn't matter, but be accurate if possible. Lead type should be enlisted accession, it can be changed later if appropriate. Then just enter the lead info (name, phone, email, etc). Notes are super useful, you can include how the lead came to be, why they're interested (why you're interested if you're the lead), good time to contact, etc.
Now, for those of you who want to be next level ANG "We're all recruiter" official recruiting buddies, talk to your state's recruiter and update your profile with their billet code, then you can use the QR code and it'll go to them. Also, if you have any student flight involvement, there's a student flight chat functions which should be way better than the typical chat groups or mass emails for sharing info.
All of these sent leads will go directly into the AFRISS bucket for the recruiter, which means it's already ready for work. This should also help a lot with recruiter timeliness. Instead of another email or text, it will be right in their recruiting system, where their flight chief/SEL can see it, and it will show in reports for not being contacted yet, etc.
Anyway, hope this helps. Ask any questions if you'd like. There are lots of other aspects, like following your loved one as they go through BMT, videos, PT resources, FAQS, a map of recruiting events, a couple of games, etc.
