Is it safe to have a cupboard above an airfryer?

I got a philips XL HD9280 last week. I have a wooden cupboard about ~30 cm above the top of the airfryer. Is that safe? I noticed today the bottom of the cupboard gets quite hot when I'm using the airfryer. The manual mentioned I should leave 10cm on the sides, back, and above it, but I'm still a bit scared.
