Can the Big Boss air fryer / halogen oven timer bell be dampened / removed?

I was gifted one of these air fryers when mine broke and it's pretty good but the bell that goes off when the timer's done is way too loud for my family and my animals. I'd try to just time it manually and unplug it, but the timer needs to be on and is manual itself so I can't just unplug the thing.
Before I try going in blind opening it, does anyone have any experience as to if this is even possible? I've looked online but my searching hasn't come up with anything.
