Disappointed in Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro, what should I look into next?

I washed all of the racks and trays that came with it as instructed in the manual and they already started to rust the very next day. For a $400 appliance that's disappointing...what air fryers are you guys using/recommending? I would like enough surface area to be lay a slice of pizza flat.
I don't have a toaster which is why I originally went with a toaster over air fryer combo and am still open to that but also open to a regular air fryer and then just getting a cheap toaster seperately.
