When you are cooking and it makes direct contact with your food, I'm concerned. When you are inhaling any steam while the air fryer is on & being near it..I'm concerned.
Teflon AKA Polytetrafluoroethylene is extremely toxic and considered a "forever chemical.' It lingers in the body & continues to accumulate. It's not hard to run into a teflon kitchen tool daily if you cook often. Can you even trust restaurants and food production warehouses/factories to not use teflon coated equipment and utensils to handle the food?
It's a horrible chemical that left an unsettling impact. Give it a google and spend like 10 minutes learning about teflon. Maybe even just find like a quick YouTube viddy.
