Hello everyone,
I am very fortunate and happy to have been selected for a rated position as an ABM (I am a civilian) this recent board and I am almost done with everything. During my IFC1 the flight doc saw that I was prescribed Lexapro. 2 years ago I was having a rough patch in my life with family and school issues and went to my doctor to seek non medical counseling. During this visit, she prescribed me Lexapro just in case I wanted to use it but I never wanted to rely on medications for anything so I never took the medicine. My issue was resolved through some non medical counseling. I wanted to know what is the best course of action for me to take here so I can pass my flight physical. I will also say that the flight doc already documented the reasoning of the Lexapro and that I never took it, will this cause any issues?
Lastly, if my flight physical is DQ'd, will I be retrained into a different AFSC?
Any advice is very much appreciated!
